A space for Romania’s early-career immunologists to connect and collaborate.

From lab to community — and beyond

The Young Romanian Society of Immunology (yRSI) was founded in November 2025, following the first EFIS on Tour Symposium organized in Bucharest by the European Federation of Immunological Societies (EFIS) in collaboration with the Victor Babeș National Institute of Research and Development in Pathology and Biomedical Sciences and the Romanian Society of Immunology.

yRSI brings together a vibrant community of early-career researchers from most major academic centers in Romania, including Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Iași, Târgu Mureș, Timișoara, and Craiova, and plans to continue expanding in the future.

yRSI develops its activities in partnership with the maternal Romanian Society of Immunology (SIR).
